If you enjoy cruising on the lake and downloading or listening to your tunes and then have a sudden urge to dive in you can do just that with your iPod protected.
You can also purchase waterproof cases so that you can jog in the rain, enjoy skiing or snowboarding, or lounging at the beach or pool. Some cases come and external jack so that you can listen to your music no matter where you are. Of course, why purchase a waterproof case unless you are going to purchase waterproof headphones. There are many varieties to choose from along with different price ranges.
